General
A: Crystallization is a natural process that can occur in honey and is a sign of purity, indicating that the honey has not been pasteurized or overly processed. At Cuic Family Farm, where we specialize in beekeeping excellence from hive to home, our honey is raw and unfiltered, preserving its natural enzymes and nutrients. These characteristics make it more likely to crystallize over time. Temperature plays a big role in crystallization; honey stored at lower temperatures will crystallize faster than honey kept in warmer environments. Different types of honey crystallize at different rates depending on their unique composition of glucose and fructose. Crystallized honey is still safe to eat and can be easily restored to its liquid state by gently warming the jar in a container of warm water. Enjoy the pure, natural sweetness from Cuic Family Farm—whether in its liquid or crystallized form.
